TikTok
Founded in late 2016, TikTok is a Chinese social media and video app that is especially popular among today's generation. TikTok is a social network like Instagram. Instead of pictures, however, short, self-made videos are accompanied by music, and people often dance or sing along synchronously. The app also provides appropriate filters with which the uploaded clips can be adjusted and edited. They can then be shared with other users and rated.
The app is free and, as with all other social networks, influencers can earn money through sponsorship, for example. There is also a live function where fans can donate money to their TikTok stars, this principle is already known from the streaming platform Twitch. Meanwhile, you can also watch news fashion, or comedy videos on TikTok.
