Hashtag
A hashtag (symbol: #) is used to simplify navigation on social media and to quickly find specific or related posts and topics. The double cross symbol always precedes the hashtag and identifies a word or term as a hashtag. Many influencers now even have their own hashtag, which gives quick access to all linked posts. Sometimes hashtags are also used to formulate entire statements thoughts, or funny puns.
