A banner is a graphic advertisement, usually placed on a web page to draw attention to a specific product, service, or brand. Banners can come in different formats and sizes, and can contain static or animated images, text, and links. Back then, digital banner advertising was primarily intended to draw the user attention and encourage them to click on the ad.
